Town Events

Registration for Town programs and events is open for Torbay residents on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. The general public will be able to register for our Town Programs and Events on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.

Some of our programs and events require pre-registration. The fastest and easiest way to secure a spot in our programs and events is through e-Services. Anyone who is unable to use e-Services can visit the front desk at the Torbay Common any day of the week between 8:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m., or contact our staff by phone at (709) 437-6555 or email the event contact indicated under all of our programs and events.


Family Fun Day
Join us for our March Madness Family Fun Day! We will have activities for all ages with a bouncy castle, climbing wall, plenty of sports equipment and games!

Community Skate
The Town of Torbay will be sponsoring a community skate held at the Jack Byrne Regional Sport and Entertainment Centre. All proceeds will go to the Northeast Avalon Food Bank!

When: March 7 from 3:30 p.m. - 4:20 p.m.

Cornhole Tournament
Join us for a night of fun with the crew of Cornhole NL! Registration will take place in-person on the night of the tournament at Torbay Common beginning at 6:00 p.m. with bags flying at 7:00 p.m. There will be a 100% payout to winners and registration will be capped at 96 players. All skill levels are welcome!

When: March 13 from 6:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

Easter Egg Hunt
Join our staff on an “eggciting” Easter Egg Hunt! There will be wooden Easter Eggs hidden on the trails at Upper Three Corner Pond Park. See how many you can find to win a treat bag! In case of weather, this event will take place the next day on March 22 from 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
Hop on over to Torbay Common for Breakfast with the Easter Bunny! The Town is pleased to offer 3 sittings of a pancake breakfast including 3 pancakes, bacon, a muffin, and a serving of fresh fruit, as well as tea, coffee, and water.

Afternoon Tournament Series - Boccia Ball
Back by popular demand, join us for a random draw Boccia Ball Tournament as part of our monthly tournament series! Our staff will be on site to explain and breakdown game rules. Each team will consist of 2 players which will be chosen at random and will run as a double elimination tournament with prizes being awarded to the top 2 teams.

Each participant will receive tickets for a drink and snacks including; pop, chips, and cheezies. All skill levels are welcome!

Do you want to minimize taxation on your final estate? How do you pre-arrange your wishes rather than leave those decisions for your loved ones to make?

Join Krista Lee, CFP, and Denielle Hann-White, Community Educator and Final Expense Planner with TruStage. They will lead you through ideas and answer questions about aging at home, planning for your estate needs and final wishes. Take control and ensure that your estate is carried out based on your wishes and interests.
