Town Events
Registration for Town programs and events is open for Torbay residents on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. The general public will be able to register for our Town Programs and Events on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
Some of our programs and events require pre-registration. The fastest and easiest way to secure a spot in our programs and events is through e-Services. Anyone who is unable to use e-Services can visit the front desk at the Torbay Common any day of the week between 8:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m., or contact our staff by phone at (709) 437-6555 or email the event contact indicated under all of our programs and events.
Border Battle Pickleball Tournament
Join us for an afternoon of fun, socializing, & of course; pickleball as a team of Torbay pickleballers get set to take on team Portugal Cove-St. Phillips. Come cheer on your community, make connections with other pickleball players and represent your hometown with pride! This tournament is set to be a fun and friendly competition amongst neighbouring towns to see what community will come out on top to be this years Border Battle Champion. Personal & Financial Estate Lunch & Learn
How do you want to be remembered? What do you need to take care of to ease stress on your family? Now that you’re enjoying retirement, how can you make sure your estate is also financially secure? Do you want to minimize taxation on your final estate? How do you pre-arrange your wishes rather than leave those decisions for your loved ones to make?
Join Krista Lee, CFP, and Denielle Hann-White, Community Educator and Final Expense Planner with TruStage. They will lead you through ideas and answer questions about aging at home, planning for your estate needs and final wishes. Take control and ensure that your estate is carried out based on your wishes and interests.
