The Station

The Torbay Volunteer Fire Department operates out of three stations, the main one located at 1288 Torbay Road, our Satellite Station located on the main road in Flatrock and also have an Annex behind 1288 Torbay Rd. The Torbay Station boasts a two bay apparatus floor with room for our Pumper and Rescue and firefighter turnout gear. The station also features a communications room, SCBA recharge system with compressor, 4 offices for our executive and officers, a full kitchen and meeting/training room.  The Flatrock Station holds a pumper truck and our new tanker truck. It has lockers with firefighter’s turnout gear, as well as a room upstairs that serves as an office/kitchen.  The Annex holds our mini pumper/wildland truck, our rescue boat and our fitness facility.
