Skills & Drills: Intermediate Ball Hockey

Sharpen your skills and learn new ones as staff leads you through skills and drills, with importance placed on fun, fair-play, and skill development. This class is designed for participants who have good knowledge/experience with the game of hockey and will concentrate on a wide variety of skills such as speed, defensive play, shooting, and more.

All equipment provided. Participants can bring own equipment but must use the hockey sticks provided. This program is for both boys and girls.

Program Duration: Jan. 13–Feb. 24 (Please note: Feb 10, 17, & 24 cancelled due to COVID-19 Alert Level 5)
When: Wed, 8:00pm–9:00pm
Where: Gym, Torbay Common
Ages: 10–13 years
Cost: $42 (7 sessions)

Registration opens: December 11, 12:00 noon – residents; December 18, 12:00 noon – general public.

Due to COVID-19 regulations:

• All programs require pre-registration through e-services only; there will be no drop-in service available.
• All participants and guardians will be asked to complete the COVID-19 screening questionnaire upon arrival to the program.
• Masks must be worn upon entry into any Town of Torbay facilities; participants must supply their own masks.
• A program may be cancelled if registration numbers are low or if provincial public health guidelines change.
