Mario Kart Tournament

Sign up for our Sunday afternoon Mario Kart Tournament! Participants will need their own Nintendo Switch system, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Game, and access to online play to participate. Register on e-services by July 29 to secure your spot in the tournament. This tournament will be made up of 16 teams. All racers are guaranteed four races.

When: Sunday, August 2, 2020, 2:00PM-6:00PM

Registration opens Wednesday, July 22 at 10:00AM for residents and Sunday, July 26 at 10:00AM for the general public. Registration closes Wednesday, July 29 at 4:00PM. Limited spots available. Register online through eServices.

Tournament Set-up

1. Register on eServices
2. Upon registration, participants will receive a confirmation email and will be asked to reply with their Nintendo Switch ID
3. Participants’ Switch ID will be attached to a tournament bracket. Participants must add the other participants in order to participate in the tournament.
4. Each bracket will include a series of four races.
   • In the first round, the top two participants at the end of the four-race series will move on to round 2.
   • In round 2, the top place player at the end of the four-race series will move onto the final round.
5. At the end of each race, each team will provide their results by either phone call or by text (with picture of winner screen if possible) to a staff member at the number that will be provided at registration.
6. Once results have been tallied, the next bracket will be sent out to the remaining participants. Participants will have a half hour from when the bracket is sent out to connect with the participants within their bracket.
