Water Notice
The Town of Torbay would like to advise residents that due to the hot weather, water in North Pond is cycling, causing a boggy smell. The water is safe to drink. Water samples have been taken and the Town will post results once received.
The long term solution to this matter is additional treatment for the North Pond Water supply. Council is working to address this matter with a capital funding application to Government. The quarterly updates from the link provided have not been updated since September 2018… but at least this is some info…
The reports are provided by the provincial government and are published quarterly. When we receive the current reports, we will advise residents.
