Water Conservation Notice

Water Conservation Notice – Effective June 27, 2025

Due to lower-than-average snowfall this past winter, minimal spring precipitation, and ongoing warm weather, local water levels have been steadily declining.

To help preserve our water supply, the Town is asking all residents to reduce outdoor water usage wherever possible.

When using a hose, always shut off water at the faucet when finished to help prevent leaks.

Additional Measures

  • Hydrant flushing by the Infrastructure and Public Works Water and Sewer Division is temporarily suspended.
  • The Community and Recreation Department will be reducing splash pad hours at the Torbay Common until water levels improve.

We appreciate your support and cooperation. By taking these steps now, we aim to avoid the need for a full water ban.

Let’s work together to protect our community’s water resources.
