Town Proclamation | Safety & Health Week
In a previous Public Council Meeting, the Town of Torbay proclaimed the week of May 5th – 10th, 2025 as Safety and Health Week. The goal of Safety and Health Week is to focus employers, employees, partners, and the public on awareness, understanding, and the importance of preventing injury and illness in the workplace, at home, and in our communities.
During this week, the Town of Torbay’s Occupational Health and Safety Committees will increase employer, employee, and public awareness of being safe at work, to encourage safe practices, and enhance workplace safety efforts.
