Town of Torbay Receives $2.1 Million from Housing Accelerator Funding
It was an exciting afternoon for the Town of Torbay as the hounourable Joanne Thompson, Minister of Seniors and Member of Parliament for St. John’s east, announced the successful application by the Town for the Housing Accelerator Fund!
The Town of Torbay will receive $2.1 million from the federal government through Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) and will construct 113 new dwelling units in the Town over a defined timeline of 3 years!
We look forward to working with developers and the community to identify development opportunities that meet housing needs and ensure a sustainable and prosperous future for the Town!
