Torbay’s Birthday Celebrations

Join us Saturday, August 7th to celebrate the Town of Torbay’s birthday with a morning breakfast, musical performances, fun activities, and special guests!

BREAKFAST

Where: Torbay Common – 8 Kinsmen Place, Torbay

Due to COVID-19 regulations the Breakfast at Torbay Common will be broke into three sittings with limited capacity. Registration is required and can be done online through e-Services.

CONCERT

Where: Torbay Common Green Space – 8 Kinsmen Place, Torbay

August 7th, 2:00pm – 4:00pm: John Curran, Wilf Curran and Greg Walsh

Join members of The Masterless Men as they entertain residents of Torbay in a safe and socially distant environment.

In case of inclement weather, the concert will be moved inside of Torbay Common.

FAMILY ACTIVITIES

Where: Torbay Common Green Space – 8 Kinsmen Place, Torbay

August 7th, 2:00pm – 4:00pm

Gather up your family members and take part in various activities, from rock painting, balloon twisting, colouring sheets and jumbo games. Along with a special appearance by the Spirit Horse NL program.

In case of inclement weather, family activities will be moved inside of Torbay Common.

FIREWORKS

Where: Launching from the bottom of Holy Trinity Lane

August 7th, 10:00pm

Get together with family and friends at sundown to watch the fireworks display for the Town of Torbay’s birthday celebration. Due to COVID-19 regulations social distancing is still required. The Town recommends watching the show in your steady 20 bubble.

In case of inclement weather, backup date for the fireworks will be Sunday August 8th.
