The Torbay Volunteer Fire Department has decided to continue its fire restrictions due to there being very little rain lately, due to the upcoming forecast and due to the concern of available resources, as many provincial assets are tied up in central at this time. We have had a very dry July, and the grass and vegetation is dry. This is not an easy decision but is a decision that is made with the safety of the residents and their homes in mind.
