The Gully Restoration Planting
When: Wednesday, May 25, 2022 (9:30 am until 12:30 pm)
Where: The Gully, Torbay
What we will be doing: We will be planting native trees on NCC-NL’s littlest Nature Reserve – The Gully! Our goal is to add native plants to a disturbed field area (~0.2 acres) which, over time, will contribute to a more naturalized buffer next to the wetland. Join us, together with the Stewardship Association of Municipalities, Ducks Unlimited Canada, and Nature NL, in planting Paper birch and White spruce throughout this site to restore this habitat for wildlife!
We are not currently posting to our volunteer webpage. If you would like to be added to the volunteer list for this event please reach out to Jennifer Sullivan at Jennifer.Sullivan@natureconservancy.ca with the following information:

Our top priority is to ensure the safety of our volunteers, partners, and staff. This event will be 100% outdoors and sanitizer and face masks will be provided on site for anyone who would like them. A COVID-19 waiver/checklist will be required to be filled out before the event.
