Bauline Line also falls under Provincial Government’s jurisdiction. However, we will be sure to also bring this matter forth at the next Public Safety and Protective Services Committee.

Glad you are dealing with problem of speeding in Torbay. Lower Street “really” needs to be added to the list. We get a lot of traffic going to the beach. Our street is very narrow (there are places where two cars cannot pass). Also we have a “blind” corner where there have been accidents. Definitely not safe for walking (I have had some close calls with cars going too fast while walking with my dog). Please keep in mind “Lower Street” is one of the oldest streets in Torbay and was never meant for fast moving traffic. Thank you.

Do something about the dirt bikes wheeling down McFayden st. It’s obnoxious and extremely dangerous!!

Indian Meal Line is a race track. Actually been passed several times, solid yellow line, by cars, trucks and kids on dirt bikes and ATVs. Have to pull out of the driveway extra carefully to ensure the speed daemons don’t slam into you.

Since moving to Torbay in 2006 I have never seen speeds be so fast! People think the road coming from St.Johns into Torbay is the Autobond! The yield at the Torbay bypass, to most us a passing lane? Come on guys; refresh your driving skills!

I think that speed bumps should be put back on Mahon’s Lane! Yes they were thete at one point, even if you put them in from May to Oct. Cars are passing each other on the road and drag racing. Another issue thought that the wetlands are protected! Dirt bikes, quads, vehicles and snow mobiles are using this even thouh there is a sign stating Wetlands. So much for protected land.
