SAM 2019 Scholarship

The Stewardship Association of Municipalities (SAM) supports environmental stewardship in our province. One way they do this is through the SAM Conservation Fund Scholarship. The $1000 Scholarship is awarded to a student who is enrolled, or will be enrolled in the Fall of 2019 in a post-secondary institution and whose interests, volunteer activities and career goals align with their values of conservation and stewardship.

Applicants must include a resume and and an academic transcript. The link to the application and further information can be found at www.samnl.org/scholarship, or download it here. The deadline for applications is May 1, 2019.

To be eligible, students must be:
1) Residents of Newfoundland and Labrador;
2)  Be entering or continuing post-secondary education in the Fall of 2019;
3) Must be committed to environmental conservation in NL .

If you know of a student in your community that is committed to environmental conservation let them know about the scholarship! Consideration is given to applicants who’s hometown is a SAM Community!
