Purple Day for Epilepsy | Wednesday, March 26th, 2025
Purple Day is a global effort to promote Epilepsy Awareness in countries around the world.
Epilepsy is a chronic neurological disorder, which affects each person differently, estimated to affect more than 1 0,000 people in Newfoundland and Labrador, over 300,000 people in Canada, and 50 million people worldwide.
At a previous public council meeting, the Town of Torbay proclaimed the day of Wednesday, March 26th, 2025 as Purple Day for Epilepsy.
