Public Notice | Water Shutoff on Thorne’s Lane
The Town will be completing upgrades to our Thorne’s Lane pump station on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025 starting at 9:00am. This shutoff is estimated to last 3 hours but every effort will be made to return water quicker than this estimated time.
The affected areas include the area north of Thorne’s Lane, Country Drive, Patrick’s Path, Bauline Line and connecting roads.
Residents may experience water discoloration, pressure fluctuations and complete loss of water during this time. Residents may want to fill bathtubs for toilet flushing and have extra water on hand for drinking, cooking and other uses.
Once work is completed it is recommended that residents run an outside tap, or the bathtub tap until the water runs clear.
The Town apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and thanks residents for their patience and understanding during this time.
