Public Notice | Age Friendly Survey
The Town of Torbay is working with ReCreate Consulting Services in the development of an Age-Friendly Action Plan! We want to engage the community as your ideas and input are an important part of the the Age-Friendly Action Plan.
An Age-Friendly Community is a community that supports the aging population of 50 years and older. Outdoor spaces and buildings, socialization, transportation and participation in the community are just some examples of areas that can be improved to make your community more age-friendly. Should you need assistance completing this questionnaire, please connect with ReCreate at info@recreateconsultingservices.com or the Torbay Common at (709)-437-6555 and/or email at recreation@torbay.ca, and arrangements can be made for your participation. We kindly ask you to provide a response on or before Monday, April 7th, 2025.
Your responses to this questionnaire will be anonymous. The responses provided will only be used for the intended purpose; to collect information from residents for the development of an Age-Friendly Action Plan. The development of the Age-Friendly Action Plan for the Town of Torbay has been made possible through funding by the Department of Children, Seniors and Social Development.
