TORBAY COMMON (RMD TO ROS) AMENDMENTS
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 29TH, 2022, 7:00 PM, TORBAY COMMON
The Town Council of Torbay has adopted Municipal Plan Amendment No. 6, 2022, and Development Regulations Amendment No. 10, 2022. An Independent Commissioner of Public Hearing has been appointed to consider objections and representations on the above noted Municipal Plan and Development Regulations Amendments.
A Public Hearing to consider objections and representations on the above noted Amendments will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, the 29th day of June 2022, at the Torbay Common, 8 Kinsmen Place, Torbay. The proposed Municipal Plan Amendment No. 6, 2022, will redesignate Civic # 6 Kinsmen Place and # 9 Tappers Place from Residential to Open Space – Recreational. Development Regulations Amendment No. 10, 2022 will rezone the same parcels of land from Residential Medium Density (RMD) to Recreational Open Space (ROS) to bring these properties into conformity to the designation and zoning for Torbay Common.
Anyone wishing to make an objection or representation at the Public Hearing shall deposit with the Town Clerk of Torbay, two copies of a signed written statement outlining the objection or representation by 3:00 p.m. on the 17th day of June 2022.
Council encourages residents to view a copy of the Torbay Municipal Plan Amendment No.6, 2022, Development Regulations Amendment No. 10, 2022 at Town Hall, 1288 Torbay Road, Torbay, or on the Town’s website at www.torbay.ca.
