PUBLIC CONSULTATION: Municipal Plan Amendment and Development Regulations Amendment
The general public is invited to view a draft copy of the Town of Torbay Municipal Plan Amendment No. 6, 2022, and Development Regulations Amendment No. 10, 2022.
The proposed Municipal Plan Amendment No. 6, 2022, will redesignate Civic # 6 Kinsmen Place and # 9 Tappers Place from Residential to Open Space – Recreational. Development Regulations Amendment No. 10, 2022 will rezone the same parcels of land from Residential Medium Density (RMD) to Recreational Open Space (ROS) to bring these properties into conformity to the designation and zoning for Torbay Common.
The public may provide any comments or concerns on the proposed change to the Town in writing before Council proceeds with adopting the proposed amendments.
The Town of Torbay draft Municipal Plan Amendment No. 6, 2022, and Development Regulations Amendment No. 10, 2022, shall be on display March 15 to April 1, 2022, from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, Town Hall, Torbay, as well as on the Town’s website at www.torbay.ca.

The deadline for written comments shall be 3:00 pm, Friday, April 1, 2022.
