PROCLAMATION: Volunteer Week 2022
The Town of Torbay recognizes the enormous contribution that volunteers and community organizations make to our province’s social, cultural, and economic development. It has been recognized that volunteers in Newfoundland and Labrador have a significant and positive impact on the quality of life for our citizens.
The Town of Torbay acknowledges the theme “VOLUNTEERING IS EMPATHY IN ACTION – VOLUNTEERING BRINGS HEART TO CANADA’S COMMUNITIES” for Volunteer Week 2022. It recognizes the many people who contribute to our Town by volunteering.
The Town of Torbay proclaims April 24 to 30 in 2022 to be observed as Volunteer Week in the Town of Torbay.
