PROCLAMATION: Canadian Down Syndrome Week

The Town of Torbay proclaims October 23rd-29th as Canadian Down Syndrome Week.

Canadian Down Syndrome Week is a week of educational programming to ensure all individuals with Down syndrome live complete and fulfilling lives, with public knowledge, awareness, and appreciation of the strengths and contributions of individuals with Down syndrome.

The Town of Torbay encourages all residents to become educated about Down syndrome, recognize the abilities of children, youth, and adults who have Down syndrome, and participate in activities during the week.

Thank you to the Kean Family (Jonathan Kean, Cassandra Kean, Jake Kean, Noah Kean, and Ben Kean) for attending the proclamation signing.
