Newfoundland and Labrador Museum’s Day
Heritage places are a powerful gateway to important stories about our past, and our future. July 10th is Newfoundland and Labrador Museum Day! A Day to recognize, celebrate and visit museums across this beautiful province.
Construction and restoration for the new Torbay History House and Museum is well underway. Its mission is to engage both Torbay residents and visitors in an exploration of the Towns rich heritage through active programs, exhibitions, and sharing collections. The Town of Torbay has invested in the 100+ year old historic Presbytery House with a thoughtful approach to its adaptive re-use as the Torbay History House and Museum. The facility will host a genealogy and archives centre, community use space and interpretative spaces that share the rich history of Torbay and area.
