Development Notice | Discretionary Use | 172 Marine Drive

The Town of Torbay is in receipt of an application from 172 Marine Drive proposing to construct a 10’ x 10’ (9 m2) accessory building in the rear yard for the keeping of a maximum of 6 chickens (no roosters) for personal use. The property is located within the Residential Medium Density (RMD) Land Use Zone of the Torbay Development Regulations 2015-2025. The proposed traditional agricultural use is listed as discretionary in the RMD Land Use Zone. This application is processed in accordance with Regulations 33 and 90, requiring public notification.

Anyone wishing to comment on this proposal, is asked to contact the Town Office in writing. The deadline for written comments shall be Friday May, 3, 2023. Further information on this matter may be obtained on the Town’s website at www.torbay.ca or by contacting the Town’s Planning and Development Department.
