Development Notice | Discretionary Use | 1693 Torbay Road

The Town of Torbay is in receipt of an application from 1693 Torbay Road proposing to establish a home-based office associated with a professional counselling business out of the existing
dwelling. All work occurs off-site at customers’ homes or business locations. There will be no clients received at the office. The property is located within the Residential Infill (RI) Land Use
Zone of the Torbay Development Regulations 2015-2025, and a proposed home based professional service use is listed as discretionary. This application is processed in accordance with Regulations 33 and 90, requiring public notification.

Anyone wishing to comment on this proposal is asked to contact the Town Office in writing. The deadline for written comments shall be May 2, 2025. Further information on this matter may be
obtained by contacting the Town’s Planning and Development Department.
