
Development Notice | Discretionary Use | 1669 Torbay Road
The Town of Torbay is in receipt of an application proposing a multi-unit residential development (condo/apartment use) on private well & septic system to be located on approx. 1.4 hectares of land at 1669 Torbay Road. The proposed concept encompasses up to 81 dwelling (condo) units located in 5 individual buildings. Three buildings are proposed to be 3 storeys in height, while two buildings at the rear are proposed as one-storey, with each dwelling unit being approximately 93 m2 (900-1000 f2) in size (two bedrooms). The proposal is intended to be for the condominium market and will include off-street parking in front and rear of each building.
The property is located within the Residential Infill (RI) Land Use Zone of the Torbay Development Regulations 2015-2025, and the proposed condo/apartment building use is listed as discretionary. This application is processed in accordance with Regulations 33 and 90, requiring public notification.
