
Development Notice | Discretionary Use | 1068 Torbay Road
The Town of Torbay is in receipt of an application proposing a multi-unit residential development (apartment use) on private well & septic system to be located on approx. 3.9 hectares of land at 1068 Torbay Road. The proposal encompasses 45 dwelling (apartment) units located in 5 individual buildings with 9 units per building.
The buildings are proposed to be 3 stories in height, with each unit being approximately 99 m2 (1065 ft square) in size (two bedrooms, two bathrooms) each with individual access and patio. The proposal is intended to be for the rental market and will include off-street parking in front of each building.
The property is located within the Mixed Development (MIX) Land Use Zone of the Torbay Development Regulations 2015-2025, and the proposed apartment building use is listed as discretionary. This application is processed in accordance with Regulations 33 and 90, requiring public notification.
