Development Notice – 7 Darryl Pye Drive

DISCRETIONARY USE

The Town of Torbay is in receipt of an application proposing a 14-unit residential development to be located at 7 Darryl Pye Drive (portion of 1 Darryl Pye Drive).

Darryl Pye Drive 7 Public Notice

The development encompasses two row buildings, one storey in height; one building will consist of 6 apartment units and the other 8 apartment units. Each apartment unit will have two bedrooms, will be approximately 93 m2 (1,000 ft2), and include an attached garage. The development is intended to be for the 50+ market, will include a communal garden space, and associated off-street parking.

The property is located within the Residential Medium Density (RMD) Land Use Zone of the Torbay Development Regulations 2015-2025, and the proposed row dwelling / apartment use is listed as discretionary. This application is processed in accordance with Regulations 33 and 90, requiring public notification.

Anyone wishing to comment on this proposal, is asked to contact the Town Office in writing. The deadline for written comments shall be Friday, April 30, 2021, 12:00 noon. Further information on this matter may be obtained by contacting the Town’s Planning and Development Department.
