Development Notice – 62 Motion Drive

VARIANCE REQUEST

The Town of Torbay is in receipt of an application proposing to construct a 92.50 m2 accessory building at 62 Motion Drive. The property is located within the Residential Medium Density (RMD) Land Use Zone of the Torbay Development Regulations 2015-2025. The maximum permitted accessory building lot coverage for the subject property is 85 square metres. The applicant is requesting a 10% variance which would increase the allowable size to 93.5 m2. An increase of 10% may be considered at Council’s discretion. This application is processed in accordance with Regulations 11, 12, and 33 of the Torbay Development Regulations requiring public notification.

Anyone wishing to comment on this proposal is asked to contact the Town Office in writing. The deadline for written comments shall be August 28, 2020, 12:00 noon. Further information on
this matter may be obtained by contacting the Town’s Planning and Development Department.
