Development Notice – 4 Liney’s Place

Variance Request

The Town of Torbay is in receipt of an application from 4 Liney’s Place proposing to construct an accessory building in the rear yard. The property is located within the Residential Medium Density (RMD) Land Use Zone of the Torbay Development Regulations 2015-2025. The maximum permitted accessory building lot coverage is 48 square metres. The applicant is requesting a 10% variance to the total allowable accessory building size which would increase the allowable size to 52.8 square metres. An increase of 10% is permissible at Council’s discretion. This application is processed in accordance with Regulations 11, 12, and 33 of the Torbay Development Regulations requiring public notification.

Anyone wishing to comment on this proposal is asked to contact the Town Office in writing. The deadline for written comments shall be Monday, April 26, 2021. Further information on this matter may be obtained by contacting the Town’s Planning and Development Department.
