DEVELOPMENT NOTICE: 38 Whiteway Pond Road
The Town of Torbay is in receipt of an application from 38 Whiteway Pond Road proposing to construct a single family dwelling. The property is located within the Residential Infill (RI) Land Use Zone of the Torbay Development Regulations 2015-2025. The property is deficient in the minimum required building line frontage of 30.0 metres. To be able to accommodate the proposal, the applicant is requesting a 10% decrease to the frontage requirement to 27.0 metres. A 10% variance is within the range that Council may consider. This application is processed in accordance with Regulations 11, 12, and 33 of the Torbay Development Regulations, requiring public notification.
Anyone wishing to comment on this proposal is asked to contact the Town Office in writing. The deadline for written comments shall be Friday, November 26, 2021, 12:00 noon. Further information on this matter may be obtained by contacting the Town’s Planning and Development Department.
