Development Notice – 21 Brown’s Lane
The Town of Torbay is in receipt of an application proposing to construct a single detached dwelling at 21 Brown’s Lane. The property is located within the Residential Medium Density (RMD) Land Use Zone of the Torbay Development Regulations 2015-2025. While the property has no road frontage, a designated 8.23 metre wide right of way exists to access the property from Brown’s Lane. The dwelling is proposed to be located behind properties fronting onto Brown’s Lane and Bauline Line. Council is considering this proposal as a single family dwelling previously existed on the property into the 1990’s. This application is processed in accordance with Regulation 47 and requires Council’s decision.
Anyone wishing to comment on this proposal is asked to contact the Town Office in writing. The deadline for written comments shall be Friday, October 23, 2020, 12:00 noon. Further information on this matter may be obtained by contacting the Town’s Planning and Development Department.
