The Town of Torbay is in receipt of an application from 185 Marine Drive proposing to establish a home based cleaning business (home office and cleaning equipment/product storage in basement & garage) providing off-site mobile cleaning solutions (window and carpet cleaning, general janitorial services, and mobile car detailing).  There will be no signage and no clients will be received at the office.  The business is proposed to have two fulltime and four part-time employees. The property is located within the Residential Medium Density (RMD) Land Use Zone of the Torbay Development Regulations 2015-2025, and a proposed office use is listed as discretionary. This application is processed in accordance with Regulations 33 and 90, requiring public notification.

Anyone wishing to comment on this proposal, is asked to contact the Town Office in writing. The deadline for written comments shall be Friday, February 25, 2022, 12:00 noon. Further information on this matter may be obtained by contacting the Town’s Planning and Development Department.
