Detour on Indian Meal Line Starting September 6
As part of the Town’s 2022-23 Water Infrastructure Upgrade project, the Town would like to advise residents that there will be a road detour on Indian Meal Line around its intersection with Torbay Road. Access around the site can be gained by taking Donovan’s Hill or Manning’s Hill, and signage will be in place to direct traffic. If possible, motorists are asked to avoid the area and take alternate routes. The detour is scheduled to start on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at 7:00 am and is expected to last 8-10 days.
During this 8–10 day period (most likely on day 3 or 4), there will also be a water interruption to the Indian Meal Line Area and its side streets on Town services. A notice will be posted before the water interruption.
Motorists are asked to please proceed with caution in the construction area and to use an alternative route if possible.
