Canada Day Weekend 2024
The Town of Torbay is excited to announce this year’s Canada Day Celebrations! This year will be unlike anything we have done before, we will have two events to help celebrate Canada Day and the 75th anniversary of Confederation!
Celebrate 75
Saturday, June 29th, 2024 from 10:00am – 2:00pm at the Torbay History House & Museum
The Town of Torbay will celebrate 75 years of confederation with the unveiling of a new exhibit at the Torbay History House & Museum, food from our local businesses, performances from local musicians and the Torbay Lancers and more!
Canada Day Celebrations
Monday, July 1st, 2024, ongoing events all day in various locations
Come be a part of the different celebrations we have ongoing all day to celebrate Canada Day and also honor those who’ve fought for our rights and freedoms!
4:45am | Sunrise Ceremony | War Memorial
8:00am – 10:00am | Community Breakfast | Torbay Common
Sittings every 30 minutes at 8:00am, 8:30am, 9:00am and 9:30am (Pre-registration through e-Services).
11:00am | July Drive Memorial Service | War Memorial
12:30pm – 1:30pm | Bike Parade | Torbay Common
Registration & Check-in (Pre-registration can also be done through e-Services). 1:00pm – Parade begins, 1:30pm – 2:30pm all bikes will be on display for voting on the best decorated bike and prizes to be awarded.
1:30pm – 4:00pm | Family Fun Day | Torbay Common
Sports Zone, Climbing Wall, Chalk your walk, Bouncy Castle, Live Music, Canteen and Foam Party (Participants must have a pair of crocs, strap on sandals, water shoes, etc. to participate).
