Call for Nominations | Torbay Arts and Culture Hall of Fame
The Torbay History House and Torbay Folk Arts Council are calling for nominations for induction into our Torbay Arts and Culture Hall of Fame 2025. The Torbay Arts and Culture Hall of Fame was opened in February 2024.
In 2025 we will be selecting two nominees. Those nominees can include artists, musicians, authors, poets, storytellers, songwriters, craftspeople, or someone who has made a significant contribution to the preservation of the rich cultural history of our community.
Nomination letters should include the name and contact information of the person making the nomination as well as the name of the nominee and why you believe they deserve induction into the Torbay Arts & Culture Hall of Fame. Please include a detailed description of the contribution they have made to our community with as much background information to support your nomination as possible. Please note that a living person who is nominated must accept the nomination before being considered for induction into the Torbay Arts and Culture Hall of Fame.
The deadline for filing the nomination letter is March 31, 2025. Please submit the nomination letter to the Torbay History House & Museum email: museum@torbay.ca or the letter may be dropped off in person at Torbay History House, 2 Convent Lane. The ceremony to present the awards will be held at Torbay History House and Museum in late April 2025.
