UPDATE: BOIL WATER ORDER – EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Monday, June 10, 2019
Please be advised, that the boil water order issued on June 9, 2019 remains in effect. The order was issued as a precaution due to low chlorine residuals. It has been confirmed that two water leaks in the water system are the source of the low chlorine residuals. Public Works staff are completing the necessary repairs.
Residents are advised that all water use for consumption such as drinking, brushing teeth, cooking, and washing fruits and vegetables should brought to a rigorous, rolling boil for one minute.
This advisory will be in effect until the Town completes the repairs and receives three consecutive approved water samples.
The Town apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. We will continue to update residents on a regular basis.
