Amendment Notice | 1669 Torbay Road

The general public is invited to view a draft copy of the Town of Torbay Development Regulations Amendment No. 14, 2024. The proposed Development Regulations Amendment No. 14, 2024, will rezone the property at 1669 Torbay Road and the abounding parcel to the northeast at 15B Tantum View Lane from Residential Subdivision Area (RSA) to Residential Infill (RI). This mapping amendment is required, so Council may consider an application for future residential development fronting onto Torbay Road.

The public may provide any comments or concerns on the proposed change to the Town in writing before Council proceeds with considering the adoption of the proposed amendment. The Town of Torbay draft Development Regulations Amendment No. 14, 2024, and associated background documents shall be on display March 13, 2024 to March 29, 2024, from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm, Torbay Town Hall, 1288 Torbay Road, as well as on the Town of Torbay website. The deadline for written comments shall be 4:00 pm, Friday March 29th, 2024.
