All Town Programming & Events Suspended
Upon further review of Town of Torbay programs and events in light of the new special measures introduced by the Province’s Chief Medical Officer on Tuesday, February 9, the Town will be extending the suspension of all recreational and arts activities held at Town facilities for a minimum of two weeks. The Town of Torbay will continue to monitor the situation and any changes in provincial public health guidelines and provide updates on future programming and events as new information becomes available.
In addition, registration for spring programming has been postponed. Registration for spring programs will now open to residents on Thursday, March 4 at 12:00pm and to the general public on Thursday, March 11 at 12:00pm.
We remind all residents to continue to follow health and safety guidelines by practicing social distancing of 2 meters or more in public places, wearing masks indoors in public places, avoiding large gatherings, and washing or sanitizing your hands frequently.
