Emergency Water Service Repair on Indian Meal Line
“Please be advised the Town will be completing an emergency water service repair on Indian Meal Line near the intersection of Torbay Road starting at 9:00am on April 25, 2024. For the safety of staff and residents traffic will be detoured around the work site through Manning’s Hill and Donovan’s Hill. There is a possibility that water services in this and the surrounding area may be temporarily interrupted but is not expected at this time.
In anticipation of a possible water disruption residents may want to fill bathtubs for toilet flushing and have extra water on hand for drinking, cooking and other uses.
Residents may experience water discoloration, and pressure fluctuations during this time. It is recommended that residents run an outside tap, or the bathtub tap until the water runs clear.
The Town apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and thanks residents for their patience and understanding during this time.
